NEW ORLEANS - Salve Regina University women's cross country was listed among the 197 NCAA Division III women’s cross country teams that earned U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as members of its 2012 Division III All-Academic Cross Country status last Friday.

NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina University has landed 33 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2012 Fall Academic All-Conference Team, announced Monday, January 28 by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

Freshman Aubrey Palmquist continued her excellent running for the Seahawks and joined Ema Waldschmidt, Alexis Gallipoli, Joelle Ross and Lea Cure each improved over their previous performances at Westfield State this season.

WESTFIELD, Mass. - Freshman Aubrey Palmquist (Bristol, Conn.) continued to make her mark on Salve Regina's all-time performance lists on Saturday, leading the Seahawks with a stellar performance in the NCAA Division III New England Regional Cross Country Championship at Westfield State University.

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Salve Regina freshman Aubrey Palmquist (Bristol, Conn.) posted a top-25 finish against challenging regional competition to lead the Seahawks to a 14th place finish in the ECAC Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday.

Seahawks started out of the third block and produced three all-conference performances (Palmquist, Waldschmidt, Ross) with the first two eclipsing the previous school record.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Salve Regina University freshman Aubrey Palmquist (Bristol, Conn.) set the pace for the Seahawks this weekend as the team took second place in the Western New England Invitational. Palmquist finished fourth among 212 runners, and led the Seahawks with a time of 19:23. Palmquist also tallied the fastest performance among CCC runners.

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University women's cross country team earned a third place finish at the Trinity Invitational held at Wickham Park in Manchester, Conn. on Saturday. The Seahawks combined time of 1:30:46 was best among all Division III schools and trailed only second place American International (Division II) and first place Hartford (Division I).
