NEWPORT, R.I. (July 5, 2024) - After three seasons with the Billings (Mont.) Mustangs, Salve Regina University alumnus and former Seahawk lefthanded pitcher Patrick Maybach '21 had his contract bought out by the Chicago White Sox who subsequently assigned the North Kingstown native to their Single-A Affiliate in North Carolina - the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers.
EASTLAKE, Ohio (Friday, June 7, 2024) - Salve Regina University baseball went 2-2 in its first-ever trip to the NCAA Division III National Championships and three Seahawks earned recognition on an all-tournament team listing - junior catcher Brady Smolinski (North Grafton, Mass.), and sophomore pitchers Kyle Carozza (Fairfield, Conn.) and Sean Mulligan (Verona, N.J.) - with Mulligan on both NCAA Division III College World Series (CWS) and D3baseball.com All-Tournament Teams.
EASTLAKE, Ohio (Monday, June 3, 2024) - Salve Regina University baseball stood tied 2-2 with University of Wisconsin Whitewater into the eighth inning before the Warhawks scored three late runs to clinch the ticket to the championship series, 5-2, and end the Seahawks' season in the national semifinals.
