SEAN MULLIGAN | SO. | RHP | PITCHER OF THE YEAR

Mulligan becomes the second Seahawk to receive All-Region Pitcher of the Year honors, and the first since Dominic Perachi (Washington Depot, Conn.) in 2022. Perachi went on to become National Pitcher of the Year before he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 11th Round.

The sophomore right-hander has tossed a total of 85.1 IP with a 2.32 ERA, a 1.08 WHIP, an 8-2 record, and 92 strikeouts (9.7 K/9) in his 14 starts, all career-bests.

His two complete games were mercy-rule shutouts over NEWMAC foes (MIT in March, WPI in May) while he also blanked Emerson over five innings of work without allowing a hit to the Lions. The Seahawk ace led the team to a first-place regular season finish in Salve Regina's first year in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference.

This is Mulligan's second Regional award (he earned Rookie of the Year honors last season). He has repeatedly proven himself to be the top starter on one of the nation's top pitching staffs, and will look to continue to flourish on the national stage during the Seahawks' College World Series run, which begins this weekend in Eastlake, Ohio.
