Women's tennis celebrates senior day, No.8 MIT defeats Salve Regina 9-0

NEWPORT, R.I. (Saturday, April 27, 2024) - Seahawk women's tennis played their last match of the 2024 spring season against the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Engineers and yielded 9-0 at the Antone Academic Center.

No. 44 Wellesley defeats women's tennis, 9-0

NEWPORT, R.I. (Friday, April 26, 2024) -- The Salve Regina women's tennis team fell 9-0 to the No.44 ranked Wellesley College Blue on Friday at the Antone Academic Center.

WORCESTER, Mass. (Monday, April 22, 2024) - After rescheduling this match three times and then getting an earlier start than the original, Salve Regina University women's tennis took four of six singles matches to defeat host Clark University, 5-4, in a NEWMAC tilt at the Corash Tennis Courts in Worcester.

Pinto paints point for Seahawks

NEWPORT, R.I. (Saturday, April 20, 2024) - Salve Regina University freshman Kaydin Pinto (Fairhaven, Mass.) won in straight sets at fifth singles but the Seahawk women's tennis team fell 8-1 to visiting Mount Holyoke College after a nearly two-hour delay to the NEWMAC match start time to dry the courts in Newport.

Pioneers sweep singles for 8-1 win against Seahawks

NEWPORT, R.I. (Tuesday, April 16, 2024) - Salve Regina University women's tennis took one of three doubles matches against Smith College on Tuesday afternoon in Newport, but the Pioneers swept all six singles to defeat the Seahawks, 8-1, in NEWMAC action.

NEWPORT, R.I. (Sunday, April 14, 2024) - Freshman Kaydin Pinto (Fairhaven, Mass.) won in straight sets for the second straight day in NEWMAC action, but Salve Regina University women's tennis fell 5-1 to visiting Emerson College in a rain-shortened match on the Seahawks' home courts.

(Sunday, April 7, 2024) - Salve Regina University's Casey Farrell (Cumberland, R.I.) won at third doubles in a tiebreak with partner Kaydin Pinto (Acushnet, Mass.) and then went three sets to grab a singles victory at fifth spot to earn two points for the Seahawks who lost the overall match to Springfield College, 7-2, in NEWMAC action on Sunday morning at the Appleton Tennis Courts.
