NEWPORT, R.I. (January 30, 2024) – Salve Regina University has landed 77 student-athletes on the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Academic All-Conference teams for seven different sports last fall.

Seahawks recognized include seniors Avery Arno, Sam Capodice, Garrett DeForest, Jacob Dubois, Matt Heverin, Ryan Janz, Zachary Ludemann, and junior Brayden Schuster, as Salve Regina has now produced nine Academic All-District® honorees dating back to 1995.

(Tuesday, December 19, 2023) - The Salve Regina University football team had eight student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, as released this afternoon. To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District® honors, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, be a sophomore or above and a starter or significant reserve.

(Wednesday, December 6, 2023) -- Salve Regina University football landed three on the 2023 D3football.com All-Region 1 Team after a 9-2 campaign that included their first New England Bowl championship - senior defensive back Avery Arno (Belmont, Mass.), senior linebacker Zachary Ludemann (Howell, N.J.), and senior offensive lineman Luke Maruca (North Haven, Conn.).

NEWPORT, R.I. (Saturday, November 18, 2023) -- Salve Regina University (NEWMAC) football met Anna Maria College (ECFC) for the first time ever and overcame an early deficit to build a 18-point second-half lead and hold on for a 37-34 final in the New England Bowl at Toppa Field.

NEWPORT, R.I.-- Salve Regina is slated to host three home competitions this weekend and tickets will be available for purchase before the event on Ticket Spicket. QR codes will also be accessible upon arrival for fans to purchase tickets electronically. 

Salve Regina University football will host Anna Maria College in the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron in the 2023 New England Bowl representing the NEWMAC and ECFC, respectively.

BEVERLY, Mass. – Announced by the New England Bowl Committee, Salve Regina University (NEWMAC) will host Anna Maria College (ECFC) at Toppa Field at Freebody Park at 12 p.m. The Seahawks last participated in the New England Bowl in 2018. This season marks the AMCATS’ debut in the New England Bowl.
