Seahawks defeat Lions 19-8, secure spot in NEWMAC quarterfinals

BOSTON, Mass. (Wednesday, April 24, 2024)-- Salve Regina women's lacrosse exceled in their last game of the regular season, finishing 19-8 above the hosting Emerson College Lions. With this finish the Seahawks earn a seventh-place seed in the NEWMAC postseason.

Threshie and Bruno lead Seahawks to 12-9 victory over Cougars

WORCESTER, Mass. (Saturday, April 20, 2024)-- Salve Regina women's lacrosse secured another NEWMAC win on Saturday when the team took on the Clark University Cougars at Clarks' Granger Athletic Complex. Junior Edie Threshie and freshman Daniella Bruno were the instigators with four and three goals respectively.

Women's lacrosse downs Mount Holyoke Lyons, 13-7

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (Wednesday, April 17, 2024)-- Alix Madden, a freshman midfielder from Plymouth, Massachusetts, led salve Regina women's lacrosse to a 13-7 win over the Mount Holyoke College Lyons on Wednesday after she achieved a hat trick, scoring her final goal in the last quarter.

Threshie launches game-winner in overtime, Seahawks top Lyons 13-12

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (Wednesday, April 10, 2024)-- Edie Threshie (Stratford, Conn.) led the Salve Regina University women's lacrosse team to a 13-12 triumph over the Wheaton College Lyons in NEWMAC action on Wednesday when the junior attacker sank the game winning goal just under a minute into overtime.

No. 21 Babson Beavers hinder Seahawks, 22-2

WELLESLEY, Mass. (Saturday, April 6, 2024)-- Women's lacrosse relented 22-2 to the No.21 Babson College Beavers in a NEWMAC contest held on the Beavers home turf, MacDowell Field. Kayli Garcia and Stella McCormack made it past the Beavers formidable defenses to each sink a goal in the second half of the encounter.
