Seahawks come in second at conference championship tournament

BEVERLY, MASS. -- On Sunday, April 14, the Salve Regina women's rugby team took the pitch for the Colonial Coast Rugby Conference championship tournament. Starting off the day with wins over Plymouth State University and UMaine-Farmington, the Seahawks would lose to Endicott in pool play and in an incredibly hard fought championship that saw Salve Regina erase a ten-point deficit to the defending national champions.

NEWPORT, R.I. (October 9, 2023) – Salve Regina now has seven weeks of NEWMAC competition experience. Seahawk teams are starting to see where they matchup against conference rivals, make offensive and defensive tweaks and set new goals for the end of the fall season. Winter sports including women's ice hockey, women's basketball, men's ice hockey and men's basketball are preparing for the start of their seasons and preseason exhibition contests will begin.

Seahawks soar on senior night

NEWPORT, R.I.-- Saturday, Sept. 30 saw seven different Seahawks score en route to a 52-29 victory over conference opponent Plymouth State (1-1). Salve Regina (1-0) won the coin toss and elected to receive the ball in the first half to open up the senior night festivities. However, Plymouth State struck first going up 7-0 after three minutes.
