No. 8 women's rugby victorious over UMass Dartmouth 93-0

NEWPORT, R.I. -- The No. 8 nationally ranked Salve Regina women's rugby team defeated UMass Dartmouth 93-0 on Saturday morning.

Sarah Holcomb (Newtown, Conn.) led the Seahawks with four Tries. Alison Houle (Seekonk, Mass.) scored once and converted nine out of 15 kicks (23 points). Seven additional Seahawks scored on the day.

Gracen Barter (Stamford, Conn.), Emily Turcotte (Auburn, Mass.) and Isabella John (Saratoga, N.Y.) all had two tries. Sam Bertrand (Warwick, R.I.), Lauren Hanna (Lakeville, Mass.), Damaris "Da'koda" Girardin (Wareham, Mass.), and Autumn Laurenzano-Frost (Tolland, Conn.) all contributed with one try.

Salve travels to conference rival Endicott next Sunday with kickoff slated for 12 p.m.
