Seahawks punch ticket to conference championship game, beat UMaine-Farmington 62-12

FARMINGTON, Maine-- On Saturday, October 21, No. 14 Salve Regina defeated UMaine-Farmington 62-12 in the last regular season match to move to 3-1-1 on the year.

Paced behind Junior Haylee Morrison's (Bellingham, Mass.) 25 points (three tries, five conversions) the Seahawks were on the front foot all day in the rainy fall afternoon in Farmington. 

Senior Sarah Holcomb (Newtown, Conn.) scored twice. Additional tries were scored by Gracen Barter (Stamford, Conn.), Seton Smith (Tinton Falls, N.J.), Madeline Walent (Dunstable, Mass.), Dakota Benson (Stratford, Conn.). Junior Emily Turcotte (Auburn Mass.) scored and converted one kick.

Salve will travel to Pine Banks Park in Malden, Massachusetts for a rematch with No. 1 Endicott College for the 2023 Colonial Coast Rugby Conference championship.
