In an earlier game, William Paterson downed Salve Regina, 8-3, with junior outfielder Lindsey Florent (New Bedford, Mass.) collecting a single, triple, and run scored.

Salve Regina (1-7) lost to Marietta College, 11-7, and later to Ithaca College, 9-3, in its second to last day in the Sunkissed Games. The Seahawks play William Paterson (9 a.m.) and Plattsburgh (11:30 a.m.) on Saturday.
