NEWPORT, R.I. – Three members of the Salve Regina University football team have been named to the 2015 D3Football.com All-Region team. Sam Pascale (Chesire, Conn.) garnered second team honors, while Alex Hulme (Hopkinton, Mass.) and Noah Drake (Needham, Mass.) earned third team honors.

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - Salve Regina University senior wide receiver Alex Hulme (Hopkinton, Mass.) had 11 catches for 155 yards and three touchdowns, including the go-ahead score with 58 seconds left in the fourth quarter, to lead the Seahawks to a 42-39 victory over the Eagles of Husson University in the inaugural Clayton Chapman Bowl Championship at Arute Field.

Salve Regina football plays in its seventh ECAC postseason championship, and third consecutive, on Friday, November 20, at Central Connecticut State University.

(November 14, 2015) – Graduate quarterback Tyler Ward (Wyckoff, N.J.) scored on a four-yard touchdown run with nine seconds remaining to lift Western New England University to a 28-21 New England Football Conference (NEFC) victory over Salve Regina University this afternoon in the regular season finale for both teams at Golden Bear Stadium.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Salve Regina University stayed in contention for the New England Football Conference (NEFC) title this afternoon with a convincing, 56-27, win over MIT. Junior Brandon Basil (Northford, Conn.) threw for five touchdowns, all in the first half, to lead the Seahawks to the victory. Freshman Udgam Goyal (Frisco, Texas) threw for 251 yards in his second career start for the Engineers.
