Seahawks land 80 on Spring All-CCC Academic Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Salve Regina University placed 80 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference Spring Academic All-CCC Team, second-most in the conference, including junior Kerri Beland (No. Attleboro, Mass.) who represented the Seahawks on two sports (women's basketball and women's lacrosse).

The Seahawks trailed to begin each game, but rallied back to take the lead in each. A complete game effort from Jaycee Garrigan (Uxbridge, Mass.) in game one and 6.1 innings of work and seven strikeouts from Andi Nelson (Candia, N.H.) in game two helped the Seahawks to their fourth straight win.
