NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University freshman Aaron White (Falmouth, Mass.) rallied for a three-set victory at fourth singles to lift his team to a 5-4 victory over visiting Rhode Island College at the Seahawks' tennis court on Leroy Avenue on Thursday.

NEWPORT, R.I. - After going through the gauntlet of top men's tennis teams in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Western New England University came to Newport and posted its league victory of the season with a 9-0 decision against Salve Regina University.

Masse claims two victories in Seahawk defeat

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – University of Massachusetts Dartmouth sophomore Anthony Joseph (Fairhaven, Mass.) and junior Patrick Pacheco (Fall River, Mass.) both rallied for three-set victories in singles to help lift the Corsairs to their first win of the season in a 7-2 match with Salve Regina on Tuesday.

Kevin Brocks and his Seahawk teammates will hit their first serves of the spring at UMass Dartmouth (March 21).

Torgrimson's troops tabbed to finish eighth in coaches' pre-season poll

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Salve Regina first-year head coach Peter Torgrimson earned a victory in his very first match with the men's program last September (7-2 versus Wheelock), and then endured two weather-related postponements before hosting his second event with the Seahawks - a combined dual match (men's and women's programs) with Johnson and Wales.
