Salve Regina men's tennis scores 7-2 victory at Becker

LEICESTER, Mass. --- The Becker College men's tennis team lost 7-2 to visiting Salve Regina University on Wednesday afternoon at the Leicester Middle School Tennis Courts.

The Hawks of Becker (4-5) got their points through the efforts of senior Aaron Peterson (San Diego, Calif. / Scripps), who won at number one singles, 6-3, 6-4. Peterson also teamed with senior Connor Allison (Hillsboro, Ore. / Hillsboro) for an 8-4 win at number one doubles.

The Seahawks of Salve Regina (4-8) were led by sophomore D.J. Bisaillon (Watertown, Conn. / Holy Cross), who won easily at number three singles, 6-1, 6-0. Sophomore Zach Monahan (Stoughton, Mass. / Stoughton) prevailed at number five singles, 6-1, 6-2.

The Becker Hawks conclude their regular season at 4-5, and will host Lesley University on Saturday in the NECC Semifinals beginning at 1 p.m. The Salve Regina Seahawks are back in action when they travel to Nichols College, also on Saturday at 1 p.m.
