CARLISLE, Pa. -- Isabella Hastings represented the Salve Regina women's cross country team at the NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships Saturday, finishing 243 out of 292 runners.

Hastings is the third Salve Regina athlete ever to qualify for the esteemed championship. Posting a time of 23:30.2, she was 32nd among all of the freshman competing. She finished the first mile in 5:59.4 and sprinted on to 6:31.2 for mile two. Hastings clocked in at 19:52.2 for 5,000 meters.
