Norton honored as CCC female runner of the week for fourth time

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University senior Caroline Norton (Portland, Mass.) was announced as the Commonwealth Coast Conference female runner of the week on Tuesday afternoon. It is the fourth time this season that Norton has earned the honor.

She finished 15th out of a field of 354 runners at the James Early Invitational this past Saturday with a time of 19:31. As the Seahawks' top runner, Norton helped lift her team to a sixth place finish among 38 total teams.

Norton and the Seahawks will be back in action this Saturday when they compete at the Connecticut College Invitational in their final warm up before the CCC Championship the following weekend.
