BOSTON, Mass. -- Wentworth Institute of Technology toped Salve Regina women's volleyball 3-0 Friday night at the Leopards' Tansey Gymnasium.

Wentworth, a former conference opponent from the Commonwealth Coast Conference, was the first team to make it on the board. This was followed by two consecutive kills from Brighton Solheim and just like that the Seahawks and the Leopards battelled it out for the first set. Wentworth squeezed by Salve Regina, 25-23 giving the Lions the upper hand going into set two.

The Seahawks deficit gradually increased over the course of the remaining two sets, unable to combat Leopard kills and hitting at the net. The game finished out as a three-setter in favor of Wentworth (23-25, 11-25, 7-25).

INSIDE THE MATCHUP:
Final: Salve Regina 0, Wentworth 3
