BEVERLY, Mass.. - A match-high 20 kills from graduate student Amanda Gilbert helped Endicott College defeat the Salve Regina University women's volleyball team 3-1 (25-21, 20-25, 26-24, 25-16) in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play Thursday evening.

Series and Streaks: The Gulls are 26-4 all-time and have won ten in a row over the Seahawks.

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Brighton Solheim (Phoenix, Ariz.) led the Seahawks scoring with 14 kills, a solo block, and five assisted blocks while supplying a team-high 12 digs.
  • Sienna DeCicco (Severna Park, Md.) posted a match-high 41 assists to pace the Salve offense.
  • Both teams served up nine aces.
  • Gilbert's 20 kills were a season-high for Endicott to lead their scoring.
  • Emma Ruel had a match-high 20 digs to anchor the Gulls defense.

Salve Regina travels to face Suffolk on Wednesday, October 12, at 7 p.m., in another Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest.
