BRISTOL, R.I. - The Salve Regina University women's volleyball team won their sixth match in a row after sweeping Roger Williams University 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-16) and remain unbeaten in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play.

All-Time Series: Salve Regina snaps a three-match skid but still trails to the Hawks who lead 27-4 all-time. The last two Seahawks victories in the series have been sweeps.

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Brighton Solheim (Phoenix, Ariz.) led the Seahawks scoring with nine kills and 1.5 blocks while supplying a team-high 12 digs.
  • Sienna DeCicco (Severna Park, Md.) posted 30 assists to pace the Salve offense.
  • The Seahawks served up 11 service aces in the sweep.
  • The Hawks were led by Kaylee Jackson (Naugatuck, Conn.) who had a match-high 10 kills.
  • Ava Mattiucci (North Kingstown, R.I.) registered 16 assists while Soraya Bussatti-Espanol (Arecibo, Puerto Rico) recorded a match-high 13 digs.
