BOSTON, Mass. - Senior outside hitter Nicole Karabaich (Greenlawn, N.Y.) set new personal bests for kills (21) and service aces (7) to lead the Salve Regina University women's volleyball team to a thrilling 3-2 (19-25, 21-25, 25-15, 25-22, 15-13) comeback victory over Wentworth Institute of Technology in the quarterfinals of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) tournament.
Salve Regina (15-9) advances to face Endicott College in the semifinals on Thursday, November 4, at 7 p.m., in Beverly, Mass.
