Turning Point
The Rams closed the first set on a 18-9 run to stun the Seahawks 28-26. The match turned in the third set which again saw the Seahawks race out to an early lead, only for the Rams to whittle it away. A 9-1 run late gave the Rams a 24-23 lead after a kill from Hailey Sanders (Franklin, Mass.). Nicole Karabaich evened the score on the next point then Solheim gave set-point to the Seahawks with a kill. Karabaich finished the set herself from the service stripe with one of her four aces on the evening and the Seahawks led 2-1. The Seahawks never trailed in the fourth set en route to the 3-1 comeback win.

Quotables
"Tonight was a good one for salve volleyball. As a team, we had to show some grit and tenacity to get some set wins but the girls were able to come together to make it happen. It was also a fun night for me personally as I may have an NCAA record for longest time between hire and 1st home win! Either way, we're taking the lessons learned today and using them as building blocks to continue to improve as a team" - head coach Sebastian Noordzy
