SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University's 4x100 relay team as its team of the week for women's track and field.

CCC Relay Team of the Week - Salve Regina's Erin Gunther (Sayville, N.Y.), Devin Smith (Ipswich, Mass.), Natalie Kopiec (Manchester, Conn.), and Madison Stanley (Warwick, R.I.) sped to a second place finish at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic Track and Field Invitational. Despite the 30 degree weather, the quartet posted a 53.56 clocking, beating all but the hosts in the 13-team meet, helping the Seahawks to a sixth place team finish.

The Seahawks compete in Manchester, N.H., at the Penmen Invitational hosted by Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday.
