Salve Regina v. Nichols women's tennis match cancelled

The recently renovated tennis courts at Salve Regina University (on Leroy Avenue in Newport) saw its first action yesterday when men's tennis hosted Nichols College. The women's tennis match between the Seahawks and Bison scheduled for Thu., April 1, has been cancelled due to weather.

NEWPORT, R.I. (Thursday, April 1, 2021) - Today's women's tennis match scheduled between Salve Regina and Nichols in Newport has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled as per Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) policies during the 2021 spring seasons. The two teams will meet on Saturday at the Robinson Tennis Courts on the campus of Nichols College in Dudley, Mass. (combined dual match with men's and women's tennis for both schools).
