NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University sophomore midfielder Zoe Cox (Whitman, Mass.) as its Rookie of the Week for women's soccer (Week ending Oct. 3).

CCC Rookie of the Week - Cox made her presence felt in Salve Regina's 4-3 win over Clark on Wednesday (Sept. 29). She was responsible for three goals that were all headed in. Cox's first tally came in 15th minute to start the scoring. She scored again in the 56th minute before potting her final score in minute 67 for her first career hat-trick.

Salve Regina (6-5, 2-1 CCC) hosts UMass Boston in a non-conference match on Wednesday, October 6, at 3:30 p.m., on Reynolds Field.
