Bio

Meg Malloy joins the Seahawks as head women's lacrosse coach beginning with the spring 2024 season. 

Prior to Salve Regina Malloy worked at NEWMAC rival institution Wheaton College for just under four years as an assistant women's lacrosse coach and assistant athletics communications coordinator. With Malloy's guidance, Wheaton finished out the 2023 spring season 10-8 overall, going 5-4 in the conference with key wins over Clark University, Wellesley College, Mount Holyoke College, Springfield College and Emerson College. 

Malloy spent time coaching lacrosse at Lax Plus, a club providing experience for girls grades three through 12 and as a brand ambassador with the Boston Cannons Major League Lacrosse team. At Lax Plus She planned and carried out weekly training plans and successfully managed 18 athletes throughout five showcases, averaging four games per showcase. Malloy comes to Salve Regina excited to provide NEWMAC coaching experience with a passion to guide and mentor student-athletes. 

At Salve Regina Malloy is responsible for defining team standards, directing the program, developing the team’s training plan, driving student athlete development, handling administrative responsibilities, recruiting, and preparing the team for NEWMAC competition.

A 2016 graduate from Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire, Malloy was a four-year member of the women's lacrosse program and progressed to the NCAA postseason tournament twice.
