NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) selected Salve Regina University freshman goalie Christina Myers (River Edge, N.J.) as its Rookie of the Week.

Myers played beautifully in net for Salve Regina. For the week she had a combined 34 saves in three games in goal posting a 9.67 goals-against average. In a win over the University of New England she matched her career-high in saves with 18. The freshman goalie boasts the third-best save percentage in the CCC and it showed in the undefeated 3-0 week.

The Seahawks (4-7, 3-2 CCC) have won four straight games and host Gordon in another CCC matchup this Wednesday, April 18, at 4 p.m.
