Tepper named Senior Scholar Athlete

NEWPORT, R.I. - Senior Abigail Tepper (Foxboro, Mass.) of the Salve Regina University women's lacrosse team has been named Senior Scholar Athlete for the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC). 

The senior education/special education major has been named to Dean's List at Salve Regina for five semesters, while also being named to the CCC All-Academic Team. She currently holds a 3.82 GPA. On the field this year, Tepper scored 23 goals and recorded 15 assists for a total of 38 points. Her goal and point totals are career-highs.

"Abby Tepper is very deserving of the CCC Senior Scholar Athlete Award.  Her commitment and dedication over the last four years as a double major and a two sport athlete is unmatched," said head coach Bill Villareal. "She works extremely hard in the classroom and on the athletic fields.  She is the epitome of a student athlete and a great role model for any athlete."
