Beverly, Mass. - Morgan DeShaw (Danville, N.H.) and Holly Davis (Guilford, Conn.) scored seven goals apiece, Caitlin Pratt (Bow, N.H.) added a career-high five goals, and the Endicott women's lacrosse team used a 17-goal first half to eliminate visiting Salve Regina, 24-15, from The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Tournament at Endicott Stadium.

The defending-champion Gulls (12-6) built a 17-8 halftime lead and played an even second half to drop the Seahawks (7-10) in the quarterfinals for the second year in a row.

Sophomore Kelly Burke (Georgetown, Mass.) paced the visitors with six goals and three draw controls while senior Nicole Viola (Scarborough, Maine) added three goals and an assist in the loss.

Senior Kellie Cunningham (Derry, N.H.) added a pair of goals and four draw controls for the hosts. In addition to the seven goals, Davis handed out a pair of assists and controlled a game-high 12 draws while DeShaw chipped in three assists to finish with 10 points on the afternoon.

Davis and DeShaw each scored twice in the opening 10 minutes as the Blue and Green quickly built a 4-1 lead. Salve Regina freshman Karley Malenczak (Sayville, N.Y.) and Burke sandwiched another DeShaw tally with goals 25 seconds apart.

Davis built the lead back up to three (6-3) after taking a feed from Molly Sowles (Yarmouth, Maine) at 18:19 before Pratt connected for two straight to make it a five-goal game.

Junior Sarah Livingston (Westford, Mass.) stopped the run with an unassisted goal at 13:15 before Endicott responded with four straight to take a 12-5 lead. The Gulls outscored the Seahawks 5-3 over the final ten minutes of the opening half to take a nine goal lead into the break.

Burke's third of the day opened the second half scoring just 15 seconds in. The two sides traded goals for the next 10 minutes until Viola's unassisted goal at 12:31 capped a 3-0 Seahawk run to pull the visitors within seven, the closest they would get the rest of the way.

Davis countered with two straight, once at 9:15 on an assist from DeShaw and then again two minutes later, to put a stranglehold on the game. Fittingly, it was DeShaw who capped the scoring with just under a minute to play to move the Gulls into the TCCC semifinals where they will await the winner of No. 6 Colby-Sawyer and No. 3 Curry.
