NEWPORT, R.I. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women's East has selected Salve Regina University freshman Kelsey Baldwin (Ganesevoort, N.Y.) as its Goalie of the Week (Nov. 3-9).

Balwin followed up a 7-3 three loss on Friday November 7 to Holy Cross by earning her first career shutout over Nichols College, 3-0 on the very next evening on November 8. Baldwin stopped all 20 of the shots she faced in just her second career start.

"I think it's great that she is being recognized," said head coach Beth McCann. "Kelsey has really stepped up for us, and to be in the starting lineup as a freshman, she is showing everyone the potential she has and the player she can become."
