  • Salve Regina has played 20 of its 766 games in Maine (6-14 record in those contests), including two wins on the Southern Maine campus in Gorham when participating in the 2010 USM Tip-Off Classic.
  • The Seahawks defeated Husson (67-57) and UMaine-Farmington (58-48) in their two games on the Huskies' court.
  • Salve Regina has played 11 of its 20 games in the Pine Tree State in Biddeford - home of its Commonwealth Conference (CCC) foe University of New England.

  • Seventh-year head coach Cori Hughes remarks: "All three of our senior captains are really positive, unselfish, and lead by example," says Hughes, in her seventh year. "But they are also really different personalities, and each fulfill an important role as a leader on this team."

  • Under Cori Hughes' direction, Salve Regina has won three Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championships in six years while compiling a won-loss record of 111-56 (.665).
  • Hughes won her first season-opener with the Seahawks on November 16, 2007; a 61-47 victory against Norwich in the Bridgewater State Tip-Off Tournament.

  • Marissa Pendergast enters her final season with 851 career points, ranking 15th on the school's all-time scoring list.
  • She aims to become the 12th women's basketball player to reach the 1,000-point milestone.
  • With a career scoring average of 10.4 points per game, Pendergast ranks 13th all-time on the school's scoring average list, ahead of recently graduated Kaitlyn Birrell (23rd with 9.0 ppg), who reached 1,002 career points in last season's ECAC Division III New England Championships quarterfinal loss at Wellesley.
