TUCSON, Ariz. (Friday, March 15, 2024) -Salve Regina University softball defeated the University of Texas-Dallas, 3-1, before falling to the #22 Central College (Iowa) Dutch, 7-4, at Lincoln Park in Tucson.
Against the Comets, Morganti Bello (Corte Madera, Calif.) drove in a run with a single to plate Emily Lane (Tinton Falls, N.J.) while Sam Franceschi (East Haven, Conn.) came home on an error. Lane later scored in the fifth on a wild pitch.
