NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Salve Regina University softball enjoyed a sunny January day indoors at the Wide World of Indoor Sports to teach the skills of the game to two youth groups, under 10 and under 16.

Head coach Jessica DePolito was joined by her staff, former player Jenna Edine '14, and current players to engage the youngsters in hitting, running, fielding, and throwing activities.

"With the students returning to class tomorrow (Tuesday, January 20)," remarked DePolito, "this was a great opportunity to spend quality time with the kids on these two teams."

The Seahawks open their 2015 schedule in Clermont, Fla., on March 7, as the "home" team against Becker College at Hancock Park.
