Seahawks make season debut at Battle of the North Shore

WENHAM, Mass. – Sophomore Patrick Voli (Bloomingdale, N.J.) set the pace for Salve Regina in the Battle of the North Shore at Gordon College on Wednesday. Running his first cross country race in nearly two years, Voli crossed the finish line in a time of 18:45.9.

Voli was followed by freshman Ty Gallagher (Goffstown, N.H.), who posted a personal-best time for 5,000 meters at 19:10.5. And junior Jake Simpson (Hingham, Mass.), running injured, battled gamely to finish in 22:34.4

Endicott College defeated Gordon College, 27-28, to win the Battle of the North Shore. Endicott freshman Colin Costa finished at 16:22.4 to earn individual honors and lead his teammates to victory.
