BIDDEFORD, Maine – Nichols will look to reclaim the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Tennis Tournament Championship as the top seed this year after having its streak of eight-straight CCC Tournament titles halted last season.

The Bison were perfect in CCC play this year, going 8-0 (14-5 overall) against league opponents to earn the CCC Regular-Season Championship. As the top seed they will receive a bye directly in the CCC Semifinals.

The remaining six CCC Tournament qualifiers will play in the CCC Quarterfinals on Saturday, April 30. Roger Williams (7-1 CCC, 14-2 overall), Endicott (6-3 CCC, 9-9 overall), and Wentworth (5-3 CCC, 6-8 overall) will serve as the three quarterfinal hosts as the two through four seeds, respectively. The Hawks will host No. 7 seed Salve Regina (2-6 CCC, 2-14 overall) at 11 a.m., the Gulls will host No. 6 seed Western New England (3-5 CCC, 6-7 overall) at 1 p.m., and the Leopards will host No. 5 seed Gordon (4-4 CCC, 6-7 overall) at 2 p.m.

The quarterfinal winners will join Nichols in the CCC Semifinals, which are scheduled for Wednesday, May 4. The Bison will host the Wentworth-Gordon winner in one match, while the Endicott-WNE winner and the Roger Williams-Salve Regina winner will play in the other. Game times for those matches will be announced after the quarterfinal round.

The two CCC Semifinal winners will earn the right to compete for the CCC Tournament Championship on Saturday, May 7. The winner of that game will be named the 2022 CCC Men's Tennis Tournament Champion and earn the league's automatic qualifier into the 2022 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship.
