DARTMOUTH, Mass. - Sophomore Owen Stevenson (Middletown, Conn.) netted two goals and junior Donald Igo (Needham, Mass.) netted a goal and an assist as Salve Regina remained unbeaten with a 4-1 non-league college men's soccer victory over UMass Dartmouth Wednesday evening at Cressy Field.

Sophomore Casey Kelly (Waldwick, N.J.) staked the visiting Seahawks (5-0) to a 1-0 lead 12:03 into the match on a feed from junior Evan MacDonald (Candia, N.H.), and Igo's penalty kick conversion in the 31st minute increased Salve Regina's edge to 2-0 at the break.  Senior Joao Correia (Peabody, Mass.) sliced the host Corsairs' (0-4) deficit in half just 2:14 after intermission when he took a pass from fellow senior Vangjel Kutulla (Norwood, Mass.) for his second tally of the season, but the Seahawks got that goal back just 1:28 later when Igo set up sophomore Owen Stevenson (Middletown, Conn.).  Stevenson added an unassisted marker with 8:48 remaining for the visitors to account for the final margin.

Senior Michael Payan (Fort Lee, N.J.) picked up the win and made one save in net for Salve Regina, while freshman Chris Moussavi (Bellmore, N.Y.) also recorded a stop in the setback for UMass Dartmouth. The Seahawks outshot the Corsairs by a 15-5 margin overall (5-2 on goal) and took 10 of the 12 corner kicks on the evening.

UMass Dartmouth heads to Plymouth, N.H. on Saturday afternoon for its Little East Conference opener with Plymouth State beginning at 4:00 pm, while Salve Regina entertains Curry College in its Commonwealth Coast Conference lid-lifter on Saturday afternoon in Newport, R.I., that begins at noon.
