Six Seahawks make All-CCC squad

BIDDEFORD, Maine - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced its 2022 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams and major award winners Friday afternoon with six members of the Salve Regina University men's lacrosse team among the honorees.

Max Beauchamp (Saunderstown, R.I.), Brendan Laundry (Swampscott, Mass.), and Jack Naglieri (Westhampton Beach, N.Y.) were all named to the second team and each make their first All-CCC team.

Liam Cooney (Portsmouth, R.I.) and Rocco Mazzei (Plymouth Meeting, Pa.) were named to the third team and make their first All-CC squads as well while graduate student Pat Leary (Wakefield, Mass.) makes his fourth All-CCC team by being named a third team attack.

"The team is so proud of these six men who have earned CCC recognition," said head coach Patrick Cooney. "They all have worked hard to be where they are today."

Max Beauchamp (2nd team attack) - "Max is a tremendous athlete with vision and skill."

Brendan Laundry (2nd team attack) - "Brendan has such energy, shares the ball, and is always a threat to score." 

Jack Naglieri (2nd team LSM) - "Jack makes huge plays on defense and can push early offense."

Liam Cooney (3rd team attack) - "Liam is skilled and can stretch the defense with his shooting range and accuracy."

Pat Leary (3rd team attack) - "Pat is a strong leader and incredible goal scorer.  He is the program's all-time goal scorer at 179 and counting."

Rocco Mazzei (3rd team defense) "Rocco brings the juice and continues to impress often while marking an excellent opponent."
