Summary
MIDDLETOWN, R.I. - Graduate-student captain Ethan Robson (Lincoln, R.I.) scored four of his game-high five goals in the third quarter as the Salve Regina University men's lacrosse team erased a five-goal deficit to defeat visiting Roger Williams 19-17 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action.

Turning Point
Salve Regina outscored Roger Williams 9-3 in the third quarter. Robson's fifth and final goal with 13 seconds remaining in the third quarter gave Salve Regina the lead for good. Two quick goals from Daniel Civiello (Killingworth, Conn.) put the Hawks in striking distance with just over three minutes remaining, but the Seahawks defense dug in and held the Hawks to just one shot on net the remainder of the game.

  • Thanks to Connor Hillemier (Farmington, Conn.) the Hawks held a 31-5 advantage in face-offs, but the Seahawks turned the Hawks over 18 times to help nullify that disparity in possession.
  • Brendan Kelly (Long Beach, N.Y.) posted his fourth multi-goal game of the season, finding the back of the net four times.
  • Andrew Gaffney (Cherry Valley, Mass.) and Cameron Fabel (East Rockaway, N.Y.) each posted hat-tricks for Roger Williams.
