NEWPORT, R.I. - Senior midfielder Sam DesMarais (York, Maine) scored five times to lead the Endicott College men's lacrosse team to a 17-12 victory over Salve Regina University in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action.

Tied 6-6 the Gulls scored nine straight goals spanning halftime to take a 15-6 lead. It wasn't until midway through the third when Salve Regina was able to stop the bleeding. The Seahawks outscored the Gulls 6-2 the rest of the game, but could never make up enough ground to make the Gulls sweat.
