Hollenshade picks up TCCC honors for second-consecutive week

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University freshman men's lacrosse student-athlete Chad Hollenshade (Lutherville, Md.) has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Rookie of the Week for the second-consecutive week.

Hollenshade tallied five points (5-1-6) and collected three ground balls last week to help the Seahawks (4-2, 1-0 TCCC) run their win streak to four. He recorded a goal and an assist in an 11-10 win at Salem State on Tuesday, they racked up four goals in a 16-9 win over TCCC-foe Curry on Saturday.

For the season, Hollenshade ranks third on the team in goals with 15 and third in points with 19.

The Seahawks return to action on Wednesday night when they host Endicott College in a key conference matchup. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Gaudet Field in Middletown.
