CCC Rookie of the Week: Logan Calder

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University freshman forward Logan Calder (Portage La Prairie, Man.) as its Rookie of the Week for men's ice hockey.

Calder earned his first career goal as part of a hat trick performance for Salve Regina in the Seahawks come-from-behind win over the University of New England on Saturday (Nov. 19). All three of his scores, which included the game-winner, came on the power play. The three power-play scores tied a single-game program record.

Salve Regina (4-1-1, 4-1-1 CCC) travels to face Curry on Saturday, December 3, in another Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest at 3 p.m.
