Wojtala, Billings both named AHCA All-Americans

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. – Junior netminder Blake Wojtala (Trenton, Mich.) and sophomore forward Jack Billings (Oak Lawn, Ill.) of the Salve Regina University men's hockey team were announced as All-Americans on the Division II-III CCM American Hockey Coaches Association All-America Team at the Frozen Four's pre-tournament banquet.

Wojtala, the Seahawks all-time leader in wins (45) and shutouts (8), was named a first-team All-American. Wojtala has posted a 19-5-2 record in net this season, making 735 saves with a .933 save percentage. Billings, who broke the Seahawks single-season marks for points and assists, was named a second team All-American after posting 19 goals and 26 assists for 45 total points thus far. He is one goal shy of tying the program's single season mark for goals in a season.

Salve Regina (21-5-2) faces Wisconsin-Stevens Point (21-5-3) in the first game of the Division III Semifinals tomorrow at 3 p.m., from inside Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, N.Y.
