Summary
Four different players scored for the Salve Regina University men's ice hockey team in the second period as it took control of the game en route to a 5-2 victory over Stonehill College in non-league action Saturday night.

The series is now tied 10-10-3 all-time and the Seahawks have gone 4-0-1 against the Skyhawks since 2009.

Three Stars of the Game
1 – Salve Regina junior Jonathan Felteau (Peabody, Mass.) started the second period scoring and also dished out two assists.
2 – Salve Regina senior Peter Gintoli (Shelton, Conn.) handed out two more assists as he continues to lead the Seahawks in assists (9) and points (15).
3 – Salve Regina freshman Blake Wojtala (Trenton, Mich.) stopped 19 shots to earn his eighth win of the season.

Salve Regina doubled up Stonehill in shots; 42-21.

Turning Point
The game was tied 1-1 to start the second period and the Seahawks could have considered themselves lucky to not be trailing after giving up multiple odd man rushes to the Skyhawks. The Seahawks began the second with an aggressive fore-check, forcing turnovers in the Skyhawks end and quickly converting them to points. The Seahawks scored three goals in the first 10 minutes and added a fourth with 2:27 left to complete a 4-0 period. Four different skaters scored for the Seahawks in the period.
