SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. - The Wesleyan University men's ice hockey team received goals from five different players on their way to a 5-0 victory over Salve Regina University during the final day of the Saint Michael's Holiday Classic on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Seahawks fall to 3-10 on the season.
Salve Regina junior Jacob Hutt (Menlo Park, Calif.) was selected as a member of the All-Tournament Team, finishing the Holiday Classic with three goals in two games.
The Cardinals scored a pair of goals during the opening period to build a 2-0 advantage before adding three more scores in the second frame to seal the 5-0 victory.
The Seahawks will be back in action on Wednesday (1 p.m.), hosting Lake Forest at the Portsmouth Abbey Ice Rink.
