NEWPORT, R.I. - Led by an 19-point, 11-rebound effort from senior Malik Lorquet the visiting UMass Boston men's basketball team defeated Salve Regina University 72-59 in non-conference action Tuesday evening.

- Lorquet led all scorers and added three blocks, two assists, and a steal to his point and rebound totals.
- The Beacons had four players in double-figures.

- Clay Brochu gave the Seahawks 14 points off the bench.
- Ryan St. Clair had a career-high 11 rebounds for the Seahawks, tying Lorquet for the game lead.
