INSIDE THE SERIES
The Bears have a 14-10 lead in the all-time series which included three seasons (1984-1987) when Coast Guard joined Salve Regina as founding members of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC). The Seahawks have won seven of the last 10 meetings since 1990; Coast Guard has not won in Newport since 1988. Last year in New London, Conn., junior Nolan Benson had a season-high 14 points off the bench to lead four Coast Guard players in double figures as the Bears won their eighth straight beating Salve Regina 67-52 in a non-conference game.

WHAT'S NEXT?
