Summary
Three-time defending Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) field hockey champion University of New England scored three first-half goals, including two in the first five minutes, and held on for a 3-0 win at Gaudet Field. Hannah Buckley (Leominster, Mass.) started the scoring with an assist from Kendra MacDonald (Lebanon, N.H.). Vonde Saunders (Center Conway, N.H.) and Kersey Boulay (Liberty, Maine) both had unassisted goals.

Series and Streaks
The Nor'easters lead the all-time series, 19-6, and have won 12 of the last 13 meetings. UNE swept the season series. The loss ended a four-game home win streak for the Seahawks.

  1. Nor'easter senior Vonde Saunders (Center Conway, N.H.) put eight shots on goal and scored her team-leading 15th goal of the season.
  2. Nor'easter freshman Liz Sargent (South Burlington, Vt.) posted a shutout while stopping nine shots to improve to 14-4 on the season.
  3. Seahawk seniors - Amber Cody (Pawling, N.Y.), Jessie Severino (Branford, Conn.), Brooke Tolley (Brookside, N.J.) - played in their final regular season game with a team-high four shots (Cody), 13 saves (Severino), and a defensive save (Tolley).
