Mauriello, Noonan named All-Americans

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University football graduate student Pete Noonan (Ardmore, Pa.) and senior Joey Mauriello (Colts Neck, N.J.) have been named All-American's by D3football.com.

The duo were both named to the Third Team and add to an already long list of accomplishments and accolades from this past season.

Mauriello, the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Football Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-CCC, was the top rusher in the league this season and one of the top runners in all of NCAA Division III. He was also named All-New England by the New England Football Writers (NEFW) and Noontime Sports, and an American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-American.

Noonan, the CCC Offensive Lineman of the year and first team All-CCC, was also named All-New England by the New England Football Writers (NEFW) and Noontime Sports.
