Max DeVito earns CoSIDA Academic All-District™

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University football senior Max DeVito (Cedar Grove, N.J.) has been selected to the First Team Academic All-District™ by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

DeVito now advances to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot where first, second and third team All-America honorees will be chosen later this month. DeVito was named a first team All-CCC return specialist and second team All-CCC reciever for the Commonwealth Coast Conference, one of just two players who grabbed two spots on the All-Conference squad.

"I am so proud of Max being able to get it done on and off the field," said head coach Kevin Gilmartin. "To take two spots on an all-conference team then back it up with an outstanding academic performance tells me that the future is very bright for Max Devito!"
