NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina football team landed a program-best 30 student-athletes on the 2014 New England Football Conference Academic All-Conference team.. 

To qualify for the team a player must have completed three semesters at the same institution with a cumulative of 3.0 or better grade point average (based on a 4.0 scale). In total, 189 student-athletes have been honored by the NEFC with Salve Regina boasting 30 honorees, again reseting the mark for most in program history. The honorees make up 31 percent of the Salve Regina football roster. Massachusetts Institute of Technology led all schools with 50 honorees.
