McGarrity closes career with NEFC accolades

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University senior Nolan McGarrity (Verona, N.J.) has been named to the New England Football Conference (NEFC) Honor Roll.

Playing the final game of his career as a Seahawk, McGarrity recorded a game-high 18 tackles (10 solo) in a 33-7 loss to Plymouth State on Saturday. He finished the season ranked third in the conference in tackles with 117 (11.7 tpg), and his 265 career tackles place him second in Salve Regina history.

McGarrity joins senior QB Jeff St. Onge (Kingston, N.H.) as the only Seahawks to have earned NEFC Honor Roll accolades on more than one occasion this season.

The Seahawks completed their season 4-6 overall and 3-4 in the NEFC.
